Car lovers purchase cars for a variety of reasons. But everybody  is interested in the engine whatever the reason of purchase whether they have to travel to work, or it could be a  status symbol or don’t have luxury of life in city with complicated network of trains and buses.  Most of the people know that upgrading the car exhaust system is very important because the most durable and effective materials that make up these systems modify your cars exhaust system. Generally there are different types of exhaust system line ups which include the following: a cylinder head and exhaust manifold. It affects the performance; a turbocharger that is dealing with the engine’s density of air which enters the engine thus it improves the power ratio that an engine provides; a catalytic converter that lowers the levels of air pollution which is produced by Cars. It lowers the toxicity of emissions released by the engine; a muffler which is also known as silencer in Europe. It deals with reducing the noise levels by reverberate the sounds inside a set of tubes and chambers with holes until sounds cancel down each other. It usually works like a fine tuned music instrument but with reverse purpose instead of creating sounds it reduces the sound.

The car exhaust systems have a long life generally. However it depends on how much you travel and how well you are maintaining your cars exhaust. If your car starts making too much of noise or when your car fails the MOT test then your exhaust system fail to work. All this happens because the exhaust system has holes which emit noxious vapors. By upgrading the cars exhaust the performance of car increases.

Question by Ian: car exhaust……………..?
recently a load of material come out of my exhaust which later i was told its use was to muffle the sound, i was told to pull all of it out as i could block the exhaust at a later time. I have my MOT due soon will i fail it as now my car is a little bit louder due to the material not there any more.
